BEFORE
hair needs to be at least 1/4” in length; hair should be long enough that if you pinch the hair, your skin will lift.
**exfoliate regularly, but avoid exfoliating day before
DAY OF
avoid any lotions, moisturizer or oil on the area of service
avoid makeup if we are sugaring any part of the face
try to avoid caffeine as it can heighten sensitivity
take some ibuprofen or Tylenol 30 min before appointment to help ease some of the pain.
remember, you are getting the hair pulled from the root. It won’t be painless, but it does get easier
THE IN-BETWEEN
exfoliate regularly 2-3 days per week
if necessary, use products recommended your sugarist to help with trouble areas
hydration is key
